The Empty Nester group allows singles and couples whose children are no longer living at home to meet for ministry, fellowship, and a growing relationship with the Lord. An elected Board of ten members meets and plans monthly activities such as dinners, parties, musical entertainment, game nights, picnics and trips. We love to give!Empty Nesters was started sixteen years ago and we still enjoy raising money to help our church purchase necessary items. We have donated more than $30,000 to the church, which was used to purchase microphones, tables, chairs, multiple items for the kitchen and funds to various youth programs. Since 2001, our main fundraiser has been making and selling Funnel Cakes at the Coarsegold Peddler's Fair twice a year. Come and Enjoy!Our events are well attended and the we strive to bring in other new people from the area.
