As a church body, Yosemite Lakes Community Church has been challenged to fulfill our part of the Great Commission as the
Lord Jesus Christ directed us in the Scriptures.
The church body can get involved in the following ways:
- Pray - Nothing happens without prayer. As incredible as it sounds, an all-powerful God has indeed given to man
world-changing authority through prayer. Our missionaries need an ongoing, daily prayer covering to be effective in the field.
- Send - Some of us don’t travel, but we can help others who want to be on the mission field for short-term or
long-term outreach. YLCC hosts many outreach trips a year. There is always a need for additional financial help for
ministry outreach projects and for travel assistance for those who have a heart to go, but lack funds to do so.
- Go - Some of us can go and experience the life changing adventure, joy and challenge of being on the mission field first-hand.
Church members can also chose to join the Missions Ministry that serves to:
- keep in contact with missionaries in the field
- pray for missionaries
- promote interest in and support for missionaries within YLCC
- make financial support decisions for the missions and missionaries
- meet the special needs of missionaries throughout the year as they arise.
Both local missionaries here in the United States and those in far away countries are supported
by YLCC, representing Christ throughout the entire world.
