The YLCC Worship Ministry provides an opportunity to serve God through the talents and gifts that He has given us. By sharing our talents we bring glory to God through leading of the congregation in praise and worship, staffing the audio/visual booth, and performing in church programs.

Our church has two adult Sunday services:
9:00 a.m. – Traditional service offers a mix of classic hymns and songs that have been a staple of church services through the years
11:00 a.m. – Contemporary service drives the music up a notch to include new Christian rock and some of the traditional songs offered with a new beat

Whether you prefer the music offered at our traditional service or the contemporary service, we have the variety you seek. Whatever service you attend, you will be blessed with a message of Biblical truth presented in an understandable and meaningful way.

Worship Team Band

The music ministry provides an opportunity for musicians to serve God through the musical gifts that He has given them. Band members are actively communicating the Word of God through music and worship leading. At both worship services, we bring glory to God through vocal and instrumental talents.

Band members are involved in weekly rehearsals that encourage musical and spiritual growth and fellowship through participation in weekly services, special worship and community outreach events. Rehearsals are required for team members.

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir communicates God's message through special music that is preformed during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday service and seasonal musical programs. Through our music we encourage and edify Christians while reaching out to touch the hearts of non-believers. Our song selections, which include a wide variety of styles, are spiritually uplifting and emotionally stirring.

Everyone high school age and above that can carry a tune is invited to sing. Rehearsals are held on Thursday at 6:45 PM in the Library/Choir room. Childcare is provided upon request.

Audio/Visual

This ministry ensures that the church experiences and enjoys the worship at YLCC. Slide shows, power point, and sound during church services create an environment for passionate, energizing worship that glorifies God.

The CD/DVD ministry, a part of this team, enables people to enjoy the message from our pastor in the event they are not able to attend the weekly church service. Simply fill out an order envelope located on the patio, write the day and month of the sermon requested and it will be recorded for you.

Worship Arts

The Performing Arts ministry serves to glorify God through the use of drama. We communicate God’s truth through plays, skits and special Christmas shows. Experience God’s Word through the varied talents of our team.

This is a perfect opportunity for people with different gifts and talents to come together for a common purpose while experiencing a spiritually and emotionally nurturing environment.

The opportunities at YLCC are unlimited for those who like theater: acting, singing, dancing, writing, set building, leading workshops, organizing venues, working with puppets, and helping plan Christmas/Easter productions.

Hearing Assistance Available - Our facility is equipped with a Hearing Assistance System. Please ask for a receiver.
