The Yosemite Lakes Community Church Youth Program

• reaches out to students and connects them with other Christians
• equips them to grow in their faith
• challenges them to discover and unleash their ministry

It is our vision that the youth in our programs will experience Christ’s love and be transformed into passionate followers of Jesus seeking to honor God through worship and service. Our programs are built on relationships.

What is the Rebellion?

We are a youth ministry made up of Jr. High and Sr. High students coming together as a community of teens who want a place to just be themselves without being judged, hang out and make friends, and find out who God made them to be through Jesus Christ.

At the Rebellion we are in the business of changing a generation for Christ! We are a rebellion against apathy, low-life living, and under-achieving. We are about promoting purity, dignity, honor and a sense of self-worth enveloped in loving one another so that we will shape the future of our culture.

High School & Jr High School

Our ministry meets in a large group that is designed to have a friendly, fun, challenging, and exciting atmosphere. This program shatters the “church is boring” stereotype and helps students celebrate life. We hold separate meetings for Junior and High School students.

High School services - Sunday night, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Junior High services - Wednesday night, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Both groups: Youth Sunday School, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Tower

The Tower Drop-In Center

The Tower, located on church grounds, provides a safe place for kids to hangout and get to know others in the area that love God. We have X-box, Air hockey, Foooz, coffee, snacks and comfy seating. It's in this safe environment that the Lord opens up opportunities to engage young people that may be seeking a higher purpose beyond just doing life.

Times of service:
Monday through Thursday, 3:30-6 p.m. (Except Wed.; open at 1:30 p.m.)

Skateboard Ministry

Our skate ramps are our new attraction for 2011. Be a part of our Skateboard Ministry! Skateboards, scooters, and BMX are welcome. (Please note, liability forms required.) For more information, contact Pastor John Lorenzana.
